Stranded inventory
FBA stock with no active listing attached — physically in the warehouse, invisible to shoppers, paying storage while earning nothing.
Inventory strands when its listing goes inactive while units remain in fulfillment centers: listing errors, pricing alerts, brand gating changes, deleted offers, or suppressed detail pages. The units keep accruing storage (and aging toward surcharges) with zero path to a sale.
Seller Central's Fix Stranded Inventory view lists every stranded unit with a reason code; most fixes are minutes of work. The operating habit is a weekly sweep at minimum — our AI reads flag stranded events same-day, because the silent cost compounds daily.
