Amazon listing audit

An Amazon listing audit that ends in a rewrite order, not a scorecard.

We open your ASINs and inspect what actually decides sessions and conversion: how the title is built inside its character budget, how the bullets and description read to A10, COSMO, and Rufus, what the backend search-term field is really covering, whether attributes and Item Highlights are complete, where images and A+ Content lose the buyer, how the parent-child tree is structured, and whether the keywords you care about are indexed at all. You leave the 30-minute session with the three fixes worth doing first, in the order we would ship them.

What's included

Title construction and the 75-character budget

Whether product identity survives inside the 75-character title limit, what got cut when Amazon's systems rewrote an over-length title for you, and which words are doing work versus repeating each other. You can pre-check any title yourself in our free auditor at /tools/listing-title-auditor/ before the call.

Bullets and description, read the way Amazon reads them

Checked three ways: A10 keyword matching, COSMO's semantic read of what the product is actually for, and whether Rufus can answer a buyer's question from your copy alone. Copy that only impresses a human is half a listing.

Backend search terms, attributes, and indexation

Coverage and duplication in the 250-byte search-term field — bytes wasted on words the title already indexes — plus attribute completeness, Item Highlights, and product-type classification. Then an indexation check on the keywords that matter: a yes or no per term, not an opinion about relevance.

Images, A+ Content, and the conversion gaps

Main-image compliance, whether the secondary sequence answers the objections your own reviews keep raising, and whether A+ modules are decorating or doing selection work. These are the gaps costing you conversion on traffic you already paid for.

Variation structure and review drag

Parent-child structure, orphaned children and split review counts, plus rating and review velocity against the category — so you know how much of the conversion gap is copy and how much is social proof.

How we run it

  1. Road-tested on real ASINs

Every check on the list is one we run on live accounts, not a template we downloaded. Recommendations are road-tested before they reach your listings, and we publish our operating notes daily so you can see how we think before you book anything.

  2. Three actions, in shipping order

The output is a rewrite order: which field, on which ASIN, first — with the expected read for each. Not a 40-page PDF that scores every attribute and leaves you to work out which two lines matter.

  3. One variable at a time

Changing the title, the images, and the backend in the same afternoon leaves nothing to attribute. We sequence the fixes so each one gets a clean 10–14 day read; a full optimization cycle runs 90 days.

  4. Fit-first, both directions

Best fit is $300K+/mo GMV on Amazon US, with $150K–$300K reviewed case by case. About half of these audits end with us recommending you keep the work in-house — we say it on the call instead of selling you a retainer.

From the operating record

Anonymized engagements with the problem, the approach, and the recorded outcome. Client identities withheld where required.

Transparent pricing

The audit is free — execution is scoped from it

$0 audit · tiers from $3,000/mo

The 30-minute audit costs nothing and carries no obligation. If you want us writing and shipping the rewrites, Launch runs $3,000–$5,000/mo plus one-time setup for up to 10 parent ASINs; Growth runs $6,000–$12,000/mo plus a performance bonus for up to 40. Larger one-off audit projects are scoped from the free session.

Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute audit — a working session, not a sales call. About half end with us recommending you stay in-house. Standard contract: 6 months with a 60-day out after the first 90 days.

Common questions

What does an Amazon listing audit cover?
Title construction and character budget, bullets and description against how A10, COSMO, and Rufus read a listing, backend search-term coverage and duplication, attribute and Item Highlights completeness, image and A+ Content conversion gaps, variation and parent-child structure, an indexation check on the keywords that matter, and review and rating drag on conversion. If you want ads and account health looked at in the same session, that is an account audit — say so when you book and we will scope the 30 minutes for it.
Is the Amazon listing audit free?
Yes. The 30-minute session is free and carries no obligation. It is a working session, not a sales call, and it ends with three prioritized next actions whether or not we ever work together. Qualified requests get a reply within one business day at account@wayamz.com.
Do you rewrite the listings for me, or just hand me findings?
The free session ends in the rewrite order, and you can hand that to your own team and execute it the same week. If you want us writing and shipping the copy, A+ Content, and backend fields, that is a Launch or Growth engagement, or a one-off project scoped from the audit.
How do you know what COSMO and Rufus actually reward?
We do not have Amazon's model weights, and nobody outside Amazon does. What we have is what Amazon has shipped on the surface — the 75-character title limit, the separately indexed Item Highlights field, Rufus answering buyer questions out of listing content — and what changes when we move one variable on a live ASIN and read it over 10–14 days. Where the data cannot see, we say so instead of guessing confidently. We do not promise ranking outcomes.
What do you need from me, and does this work if I only have a few ASINs?
Public ASIN data is enough for a first pass on titles, bullets, images, A+ Content, variations, and reviews. Backend search terms, Search Query Performance, and Brand Analytics need read-only Seller Central user permissions — never your password. A handful of ASINs is fine for the free session; if you are under $150K/mo and scaling cleanly on your own, expect us to tell you to stay in-house.
