Amazon PPC audit
A free Amazon PPC audit that ends in three actions, not a deck.
Thirty minutes inside your live ad account with a senior operator: campaign architecture, the search terms burning budget, match types bidding against each other, placement multipliers, and where spend sits against your TACoS trajectory. It is the same Amazon advertising audit we run on the accounts we manage, and it ends the same way — three prioritized actions, in order, with the read window for each. No PDF arrives afterward. No obligation. About half of these calls end with us recommending you stay in-house.

What's included
Campaign architecture and portfolio structure
How campaigns, ad groups, and portfolios actually map to your catalog: where the structure drifted, which ASINs have no deliberate coverage, and which portfolios exist to produce a report rather than to drive a budget decision.
Search-term waste and the negative-keyword gap
Spend sitting on search terms that have never converted, the negatives that should already exist and don't, and negatives applied at the wrong level — the ones quietly blocking terms you want to keep buying.
Match-type overlap and self-competition
Where the same keyword is live in exact, phrase, broad, and auto at once and bidding against itself. We separate the duplicates worth collapsing from the ones worth keeping isolated for harvest.
Bids, placements, and budget against TACoS
Bid strategy read against placement multipliers so you can see the effective bid you're actually paying, budget allocation judged on TACoS trajectory instead of per-campaign ACoS, and the branded-versus-nonbranded split — how much of your reported ROAS is buying sales you already had.
The restructure sequence, in priority order
You leave with the specific rebuild we would run: what moves first, what waits behind it, and what each step should change. Sequenced so the account stays readable while it is being fixed.
How we run it
A working session, not a deck
Thirty minutes with the ad console on screen and your bulk file open. The value lands on the call, not in a document that shows up three days later with a proposal stapled to the back.
Three actions, prioritized
We end with the three moves that matter most, in order, each with what it should change and when you'd expect to read it. Not a 40-item findings list where everything is flagged and nothing is ranked.
10–14 day reads, one variable at a time
The sequence is ordered so each change produces a clean attribution read in 10–14 days, inside a 90-day optimization cycle. Anyone promising a PPC fix that shows up inside a week is guessing at attribution.
About half of these calls end in "stay in-house"
If the structure is already sound and the real problem is price, inventory, or the listing, we say so. Below $150K/mo GMV and scaling cleanly, an in-house operator with a focused tool stack is usually the better answer — and that is the recommendation you'll get.
From the operating record
Anonymized engagements with the problem, the approach, and the recorded outcome. Client identities withheld where required.
Transparent pricing
The audit is free — engagements start at Launch
$0 audit · from $3,000/mo
The 30-minute PPC audit costs nothing and carries no obligation; the three actions are yours either way. If there's a fit, Launch runs $3,000–$5,000/mo plus a one-time setup, and most advertising engagements sit in Growth at $6,000–$12,000/mo plus a performance bonus tied to incremental GMV or TACoS improvement.
Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute audit — a working session, not a sales call. About half end with us recommending you stay in-house. Standard contract: 6 months with a 60-day out after the first 90 days.
Common questions
- What does an Amazon PPC audit cover?
- Campaign architecture and portfolio structure; search-term waste and the negatives that should already exist; match-type overlap where your own keywords bid against each other; bid strategy against placement multipliers; budget allocation against your TACoS trajectory; and the branded versus non-branded spend split. You leave with the restructure sequence in priority order, not a list of observations.
- Is the free Amazon PPC audit really free?
- Yes. Thirty minutes, no invoice, no obligation, and the three actions are yours whether you run them yourself or hand us the account. About half of these calls end with us recommending the brand stays in-house, which is a poor way to run a sales funnel and an accurate description of how we work. Email account@wayamz.com; qualified requests get a reply within one business day.
- What do I need to give you access to?
- Nothing permanent. A screen share of the ad console is enough. If you'd rather send a Sponsored Products bulk file and the last 60 days of search-term report ahead of the call, we'll have read them before we start and the 30 minutes go further. Read-only advertising access is welcome when it's simpler for you, and it is not required.
- Do you audit the whole advertising account or only Sponsored Products?
- The whole paid side — Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP where it's running. An Amazon advertising audit that reads only SP misses where a lot of waste sits: SB and SD budgets nobody has re-read since the day they launched, and DSP pointed at goals the retail funnel can't support yet.
- What happens after the audit — do you take over the ads?
- Only if both sides want that, and only if the size fits: $300K+/mo GMV on Amazon US is our best-fit range, $150K–$300K is case by case, and below $150K we'll usually tell you to keep it in-house. Plenty of brands run the three actions themselves and never come back, which is fine. If we do take over, a named senior operator owns every change that ships, and our agents read the account daily and flag anomalies the same day.
