Click share (ABA)

In Brand Analytics' Top Search Terms, the percentage of a query's total clicks captured by each of the top three clicked products — the visibility scoreboard for every keyword that matters.

For every search term, ABA names the three most-clicked ASINs and each one's share of all clicks on that query. It is the cleanest read on who actually owns a keyword — rank tools show where you appear; click share shows whether shoppers choose you when you appear.

Read it with conversion share beside it. High click share with low conversion share is a listing that promises more than it converts — a price, review, or content problem. Low click share on a query you rank well for is a main-image and title problem. The top-3 cutoff also defines the game: if you are fourth, ABA shows you nothing, which is itself information.

The numbers

  • Reported only for the top 3 clicked products per query — everything below the top 3 is invisible in this report.
  • Click share + conversion share together diagnose whether a keyword problem is upstream (visibility) or downstream (conversion).
