Amazon Vine

Amazon's invitation-only review program: enroll units, vetted reviewers take them free, and honest reviews land — the only compliant way to seed reviews on a new listing.

Vine gives Brand Registry sellers a compliant path to early reviews: enroll up to 30 units per parent, Vine reviewers claim them, and reviews (marked with the green Vine badge) typically arrive within a few weeks. Amazon charges a per-parent enrollment fee tiered by unit count; the reviews are not guaranteed positive — Vine reviewers are notoriously frank.

Used well, it front-loads the social proof a cold launch is missing — the difference between converting at 5% and 12% in week three is usually review count crossing double digits. Used on a flawed product, it documents the flaws in public. Ship Vine units only after your quality control has signed off, and never attempt incentivized reviews outside it; that is the fastest suspension in the catalog.

The numbers

  • 2026 US enrollment fee per parent ASIN: $0 for up to 2 units, $75 for 3–10, $200 for 11–30.
  • You are charged only 7 days after the first Vine review posts — no Vine review within 90 days means no fee.
  • Vine reviews carry the green badge, count toward totals, and skew honest rather than kind — enroll only after QC signs off.
