Account Health Rating (AHR)
Amazon's color-coded score of your account's policy standing — Healthy, At Risk, or Critical — the number that decides how much benefit of the doubt you get before deactivation.
AHR condenses your policy compliance into a score and color on the Account Health page: unresolved violations subtract, severity weights heavily, and time plus resolution heal it. It is not about sales performance — a bestselling account with open IP complaints can sit at Critical while a tiny clean one reads Healthy.
The score buys process: accounts sustaining strong AHR qualify for Account Health Assurance, where Amazon commits to contacting you and allowing time to fix issues rather than deactivating first. The operating rule is simple — no violation sits unaddressed for a week, however trivial, because AHR is a buffer you fund in advance of the day something real goes wrong.
The numbers
- Bands: Healthy / At Risk / Critical, scored from open policy violations weighted by severity and recency.
- Account Health Assurance (sustained high AHR, e.g. 250+ over time with conditions): Amazon commits to reach out and work with you before deactivating.
- Violations resolve through the Account Health page workflows — resolution restores points; ignoring never does.
