Unfulfillable inventory & auto-removals

Stock FBA can no longer sell — customer-damaged, defective, expired — and the settings that automatically ship it back or destroy it before storage fees eat the remains.

Returns that grade as unsellable, units damaged in the warehouse, and expired stock accumulate in the unfulfillable bucket, paying storage while being unable to earn. Automated unfulfillable removal settings clear the bucket on a schedule — return-to-address or disposal — without manual intervention.

Two operator choices inside: where returns go (an inspection address turns unsellable returns into a refurb/Grade-and-Resell pipeline instead of a write-off) and cadence (monthly auto-removal is the hygiene default). Leaving the bucket unmanaged combines the worst options: paying rent on inventory that is legally unsellable.

The numbers

  • Sources: unsellable customer returns, warehouse damage, expired units; the bucket pays storage while unsellable.
  • Auto-removal settings schedule return-to-address or disposal without manual action.
