Related account policy
Amazon's linkage doctrine — accounts connected by device, network, banking, or people inherit each other's enforcement fate, and a link to a suspended account is itself a suspension trigger.
Amazon permits operating multiple accounts for legitimate business needs — but links every account it can associate through shared devices, IPs, payment methods, credentials, addresses, and personnel. When one linked account is deactivated for cause, its relatives are routinely deactivated with it, and 'related account' appeals are among the hardest to win.
Hygiene is architectural: separate legal entities, banking, devices and browser profiles, and clean personnel boundaries for accounts that must coexist — and extreme caution acquiring accounts or hiring operators whose past accounts you cannot audit. The most common tragedy is inherited: a VA who once touched a suspended account, logging in from the same laptop.
