FBA carton requirements
The box specs receiving enforces — 50 pounds max, 25 inches per side, labels flat on top surfaces — the checklist that decides whether your container unloads in hours or gets flagged for problem receive.
FBA inbound cartons obey published bounds: weight capped at 50 lb (single oversized units excepted, with team-lift labeling above 50 lb and mechanical-lift above 100 lb), dimensions within 25 inches on any side for standard-size product boxes, labels (FBA box ID + carrier) on flat surfaces away from seams, and no repurposed retail cartons with stale barcodes uncovered.
Violations route shipments into problem receiving — slow check-in, per-unit noncompliance fees, and repeat-offender flags that follow the account. The fix is upstream and free: carton specs written into the supplier packaging SOP, verified at pre-shipment inspection alongside FNSKU and prep checks. Boxes are the last thing you should be redoing at a US warehouse.
