Build International Listings (BIL)
The sync engine between your marketplaces — source listings replicate to target countries with price rules that auto-adjust for currency and fees — expansion as configuration, with translation as the asterisk.
BIL connects a source marketplace to targets: listings replicate, offers create, and prices maintain themselves against your rules (fixed markup over source price, currency-adjusted, fee-difference-aware). Ongoing sync means a price change at home propagates on schedule.
The asterisk is content quality: machine-translated listings read like machine-translated listings, and the buyer-language work that wins rankings at home does not survive autotranslation. The professional pattern: BIL for structure and price plumbing, native rewrite (or at minimum native review) for hero-ASIN content in each target language.
The numbers
- Mechanics: source→target replication with rule-based price sync (currency + fee adjustments).
- Machine translation carries structure, not buyer language — native rewrite for hero ASINs.
