Amazon Marketing Stream (AMS)
The push-based ads data pipe — hourly campaign metrics and near-real-time events streamed to your endpoint via API, the infrastructure under serious intraday bid automation.
Instead of polling reports, Marketing Stream pushes hourly-grain performance data and change events to a subscriber endpoint (typically through AWS). Hourly granularity is the unlock: intraday conversion patterns, dayparting decisions based on measured hours, and automation that reacts in near-real-time rather than tomorrow.
It is plumbing for tool builders and API-first teams — no dashboard, no UI, just data flow. If your dayparting or budget automation claims intraday intelligence, AMS is what feeds it; if you manage manually, its value arrives indirectly through whichever tools you license.
The numbers
- Delivery: push-based subscription to your endpoint (AWS-style), hourly metrics + near-real-time change events.
- The data source behind credible intraday bidding/dayparting automation; API-only, no console UI.
