Amazon Business (B2B selling)
The B2B layer inside your existing account — business-only prices, quantity discounts, tax-exempt buyers, invoiced orders — corporate demand that most sellers serve accidentally and never optimize.
Amazon Business aggregates registered business buyers (companies, schools, governments) whose purchasing runs through your same listings — with B2B-specific levers: business prices below retail, quantity-discount tiers, participation in the tax-exemption program (ATEP), and Pay-by-Invoice orders that settle on terms.
B2B demand skews toward multipacks, consumables, and workhorse goods, and it shows up unasked in your Business Reports' B2B columns. The optimization is usually fifteen minutes: set quantity breaks where your carton math supports them, enroll ATEP to stop losing exempt buyers at checkout, and check whether your catalog deserves case-pack ASINs.
The numbers
- Levers: business-only prices, quantity-discount tiers, ATEP tax exemption, Pay-by-Invoice terms.
- B2B sales report separately in Business Reports — most sellers have the demand before the strategy.
